LABORING FOR CHRIST
Time is precious and every hour counts. Today we just had a MIRACLE HOUR, a concise biblical message that could benefits our walk on faith in the Marketplace. Our message today is about laboring for Christ, brought by Daniel Parade (IT Developer).
In today’s Marketplace, we are aimed to stretch boundaries in order to optimize our capacity and therefore we would achieve greater. Over and above, is our God has destine us to be fruitful with the resources that are not merely from ourselves.
“Abide in Christ”
Today’s wonderful message was taken from John 15:1-5, speaking about how Jesus Christ is the true vine and we are His branches. A branch itself can hardly accomplish anything if it is being apart from the vine. Likewise we can only produce something good, is when we are abiding in Christ.
God knows everything about us because He made us (Psalm 139:13). Not only that, He had designed our life specifically for His purpose. As IT developer would have designed a program in such ways to particular function, in resemblance to that God had plans to give us a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). But that again, such fruitful life can only be done when we are abiding in Christ everyday in every way.
“We need Jesus”
Maybe we are considered to be a big branch already in the eyes of this world. Yet we need to be constantly forewarned that we need Jesus Christ. We need the forgiveness of our sins through the Blood of Jesus. And He is not done yet with us. He wants us to be His witness, to be the salt and light for this tasteless and darkened world by simply abiding in Him. An invitation extended for the congregation to come to receive the forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus, accepting Him as Lord and Savior.
Our brother Daniel Parade was closing today’s message with a prayer for those who want to give their life to Jesus, that were called by His own name for the great commission. We truly praise the Lord that apart from Him we can do none, this implies that by abiding in Him, we can do all things through the one who is our true vine, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
