I Find Rest in the Lord – Bersama Tuhan Aku Tenang
Life struggles or problems may come our way, but believe that God will not leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13: 5b). Today’s Miracle Hour was brought by Septa Tobing (Journalist). The message was taken from Psalm 23:1-6 about God as a good shepherd.
God Cares about Our Lives
Jesus is a good shepherd and He will never leaves us as His own people. Facing life struggles and dealing with changes in our lives may discourage us, but there is a good news for us; Jesus is our shepherd.
Psalm 23: 1-6 (NKJV) “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will well in the house of the Lord Forever.”
Maybe we face difficulties, our businesses might be declining, but God will take care of us. He said that He is a good shepherd. Therefore, we don’t need to be afraid and worry about our lives. In the midst of bad news that is happening, God will lie us down in green pastures and He will lead us to the still waters. He will refresh our souls and we have a guarantee in Jesus.
Maybe we are in the midst of pressures and we don’t have the way out. However, God is able to bring us out from these difficult moments. He will make us as victors. Maybe we are in the lowest point of our lives at the moment and we are faced with difficult decisions, but belive that the Lord is with us. God Himself will guide and lead us on the right path as long as we come to Him.
Septa Tobing closed today’s service by leading the congregation a prayer of salvation. She led the people to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. All glory be to God who has blessed many lives today. Amen
