Miracle Day 8 Juli 2020

“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”

Our Brother Togu Hasiholan started the service by bringing the message taken from Romans 5:8. This scripture tell us how Jesus had died for our sins even when we are still sinners. It is customary to sacrifice for somebody we love. However, it is truly another case when we wholeheartedly willing to take the punishment and die for someone who do evil things against us. But that was exactly what Jesus did, for indeed His love is unconditional, the love that even sustain to eternal.

In this time of need, peculiarly during this COVID-19 pandemic, one would longed for a helping hand, not merely for survival, but even for our attempt to be freed from sin. Maybe at the verge of desperation we lost hope and lose sight of the wonderful love of Jesus. There’s a way in Jesus Christ. If He goes as far as died for our sins, we should be assured that He is also mindful for all of our necessities.

Not limited to deliver us from our transgression, God also wants to use our present life to be utilized for His Kingdom. We can be God’s representative within the Marketplace. The congregations were invited to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and following to that, a prayer for those people who wanted to present their life for God lead by Jones Sinaga.

“Son of David, Have Mercy on Us”

The service continued with the message about God’s healing miracle, taken from Matthew 9:27-31, brought by Lenny Maria. The scriptures tell us about two blind men shouting for Jesus to have mercy on them. They believed in Jesus could heal them. They acknowledge Him as the Messiah by addressing Him as the Son of David. When Jesus touched them they were able to see. Proceeding to that, they spread the news about their testimony that Jesus had healed them.

Our Sister Pestaria Siregar proceeding the service by praying for the healing power of Jesus to be poured down for the congregation as promised in I Peter 2:24, by His stripes we were healed. As this live stream was occurring, we received some prayer requests to our call center and many came to Jesus Christ and received healing.

As Jesus followers, especially positioned by God in the Marketplace, we have a duty to intercede for our nation of Indonesia, primarily during the transition to a new normal in regards with Covid-19 pandemic.  The prayers were lead by Jones Sinaga and Pestaria Siregar.

Concluding the service, the congregation was encouraged to be a blessing for their local Christian office fellowship and not to hesitate reaching to our call center for prayer request and to notify healing testimonies as well. A gentle reminder was given as well, and that is to comply with government regulation in effort to put an end for this Corona pandemic, and as well a closing prayer brought by Sugiharto. We give glory to Lord Jesus Christ who had touched so many lives today. Amen.
