KASIH YANG SEMPURNA – A perfect love
Today is a miraculous day. Wednesday July 29, 2020, we held another Miracle Day event, a live stream sermon and healing service for the Marketplace. The theme for today is how Christ have set us free. The service brought by servants of God in Marketplace from such a diverse industries and professions, they are: Timotius K. Nugraha (Finance Staff), Sondang Suryani (Banking Industry), Dewi Manalu (Digital Marketing), Meykel Sopacua (Pharmacy Staff) and Ambarsari Pruwaningsih (HC Compensation and Benefit).
“Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more”
Our Brother Timotius K. Nugraha started the service by bringing the message taken from John 8:2-11. This is a story about an adulteress woman who was saved by Jesus at the verge of her death penalty, about to be stoned to death. How many times we find ourselves in the similar situation, whereas we found dead end hopeless regarding all the setbacks in our life, whether regarding our job, family or personal failures especially in dealing with the bondage of our own sin.
Jesus is our only hope and the only way out. He is the answer, He is the solution. We cannot change ourselves, but Jesus can. From the nature of sin, through the Cross we become new and being part of citizen of the Heavenly Kingdom. The congregations were invited to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and following to that, a prayer for those people who wanted to present their life for God lead by Sondang Suryani.
“Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean”
The service continued by Dewi Manalu with the message about God’s healing miracle, taken from Matthew 8:1-3. The story is about how Jesus healed a man from leprosy. Disregard his disease that should allow him to be amongst the public, this man came before Jesus with the heart of worship and said “Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean”. Jesus put forth His hand and touched the leper saying “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Truly our God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Our Brother Meykel Sopacua proceeding the service by praying for the healing power of Jesus to be poured down for the congregation as promised in Isaiah 53:5, by His stripes we were healed. As this live stream was occurring, we received some prayer requests to our call center and many came to Jesus Christ and received healing.
As Jesus followers, especially positioned by God in the Marketplace, we have a duty to intercede for our nation of Indonesia, primarily during the transition to a new normal in regards with Covid-19 pandemic. The prayers were lead by Sondang Suryani and Meykel Sopacua.
Concluding the service, the congregation was encouraged to be a blessing for their local Christian office fellowship and not to hesitate reaching to our call center for prayer request and to notify healing testimonies as well. A gentle reminder was given as well, and that is to comply with government regulation in effort to put an end for this Corona pandemic, and as well a closing prayer brought by Ambarsari Pruwaningsih. We give glory to Lord Jesus Christ who had touched so many lives today. Amen.
