JESUS IS MY REFUGE – YESUS PELINDUNGKU
In all our occurrences that we face, one thing that never changes is that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46: 2). Today’s Miracle Day talks about how God is our source of help and refuge, presented by God’s servants at the Marketplace from various industries and professions, including: Herwin Nugroho (Production House Entrepreneur), May Sofi (College Education), Lenny Ratna (Chemical Industry), Pujo Handoyo (MEP Supplier) and Ferny (Pipe Distributor Company).
God’s protection is for those whose heart attached to Him
Herwin Nugroho conveyed God’s Word from Psalm 91 states that God is our refuge and stronghold, God will deliver us from the snare of bird catchers, from rotten pestilences. Even if a thousand lie on your side, and ten thousand on your right hand, it will not befall you. Indeed, her heart is attached to Me, so I will spare her, fortify her, because she knows My name. When he cries out to Me, I will answer, I will be with him in distress, I will spare him and glorify him, God said.
Life quandaries often occur at this time during the pandemic whereas people are suffering layoffs, business has decreased or failed, it seems uncertainty in business, unexpected economy crisis, increasing debt, and not to mention the devastation illness for a disease with no medicine available.
However, if our heart attached to God, His protection becomes an assurance for us that we need not to bear it with our own strength. It is God will and pleasure to give us victories over our circumstances. Jesus can save life’s worries, life’s fears, Jesus can give our hearts full of joy.
May Sofi continued to lead the congregation with a prayer of salvation, to be reborn in Christ. His love for us is indisputable for He had willing to die on the cross, taking our position in order for us to receive everlasting life (John 3:16). An invitation was also given to those who want to respond to the calling of God to be His witness.
Jesus answers faith
Lenny Ratna continued God’s Word from Mark 5: 25-34 regarding a woman who was sick with bleeding. The woman who was sick with bleeding was trying to get healing anywhere but it did not go away because everything had been used up to treat her illness, the woman who had heard about Jesus, when Jesus came, this woman with bleeding was very persistent in approaching Jesus in the midst of a crowd of people who were together Jesus. This woman believed and acted with God, that: “As long as I touch His robe, I will be healed”, and God gave His love and performed miracles to women who were bleeding with blood. When we have faith and break through to come to God in the midst of all our living conditions, be it struggles or illnesses, then He is God who will give His love and work miracles for our lives.
Pujo Handoyo conveyed that God’s power remains the same that God can help and heal us, praying that the Lord Jesus’ healing is poured out according to His Word from 1 Peter 2: 24b. While this live broadcast was taking place, we received several prayer requests to our Contact Center and many came to the Lord Jesus and experienced healing.
As believers of Christ we ought to pray without ceasing. The service continues with prayer of intercession lead by May Sofi and Pujo Handoyo, for the well being of Indonesia, particularly in handling pandemic challenges that had never been seen before in world history.
Concluding the service, the congregation was encouraged to be a blessing for their local Christian office fellowship and to comply with government regulation in effort to put an end for this pandemic, and as well a closing prayer brought by Ferny. We bring all praise and glory to Jesus Christ who had saved and healed many lives today. Amen
