Glory to God! Today at Wednesday June 10, 2020 we held another Miracle Day. This is a live stream sermon and healing service for the Marketplace. Despite Covid-19 pandemic, God is still at work, bringing and healing people even more, as such time as this. The service was delivered by God’s servants in Marketplace from such a diverse industries and professions. Today service was brought by Roy Setiawan (Education), Debbie Kusuma (Journalist), Lidia Wulan (Digital Strategist), Melisa Suawa (Graphic Design) and David Frances (Entrepreneur).

“You are worthy in His eyes”
Today service was opened with a prayer and God’s message brought by Roy Setiawan. The message of God is taken from Isaiah 43:4 “Since you are precious and special in my sight, and I love you, I will hand over people in place of you, nations in place of your life”. We often oversight of a fact that God sees us worthy due to our circumstances. Nonetheless God showed how precious we are by leaving His throne in heaven, willing to come down to earth as human like us and died on the cross for our sin.
We are the apple of His eye. Just like a story in Luke 15:11-32 about the prodigal son. His rebellious heart and transgression lead him astray and suffered. But when he repented, the father run for him, just like the Father in heaven would for you despite how far you have gone. It is also written in Isaiah 49:15, even if a mother forgets his child, which is rare, yet if it is so, God will never fail to remember us.
The word of God continues on with an invitation to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, brought by Debbie Kusuma. As stated in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
“Lord, just say one word, and my servant will be healed”
The service proceeded by the message of God, about how Jesus healed a servant of a centurion in Capernaum (Matthew 8:5-13) brought by Lidia Wulan. This centurion truly believes in Jesus whereas when Jesus was willing to visit his servant, he refused because he felt unworthy having Jesus in his house. Yet he believes that Jesus has all the authority that is needed for the healing of his servant, as simple one word from Jesus. That is why we should never underestimate the power of faith. Even Jesus Himself was astonished by this centurion’s faith, as he was not in the least saw such faith like this amongst the Israelites.
The message proceeds with praying for the healing power of God by Melisa Suawa, reminded us about the promise of God written in Isaiah 53:5 as not only we received forgiveness of sin, but by His stripes, we are healed. We take gospel as truth, and on the grounds of this we believe many were touched and healed during this live stream.
As believers, especially positioned by God in the Marketplace, we have a duty to intercede for our nation of Indonesia. We pray for God’s forgiveness, His blessing over our nation, government, economic state and welfare. Particularly during the recovery of Covid-19 pandemic, we pray for the healing of all the infected and the protection for the frontline people working in health care, and more so the ending of this pandemic. The prayers were lead by Debbie Kusuma and Melisa Suawa.
Concluding the service, the congregation was encouraged to be a blessing witness to each of their local Christian office fellowship and not to hesitate reaching to our call center for prayer request and to notify healing testimonies as well. A gentle reminder was given as well, and that is to comply with government regulation in effort to put an end for this Covid-19 pandemic, and as well a closing prayer brought by David Frances. All glory to Jesus Christ, unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
