JESUS CHANGES ME
Glory to God! Today at Friday June 26, 2020 we held another Miracle Day. A live stream sermon and healing service for the Marketplace. The service was delivered by God’s servants in Marketplace from such a diverse industries and professions. Today service was brought by Evi Yusniar (Facility Services), Victor Sentosa (General Contractor), Sigit Syahranie (Logistics Real Estate), Indrie Scarlet (Notary Public) and Hanung Prasetyo (Vehicle Importer).
“Fear not; from henceforth though shalt catch men”
Today service was opened with a prayer and God’s message brought by Evi Yusniar. The message of God taken from Luke 5:1-11. This is a story about Jesus called the first disciples. In the midst of unfruitfulness Jesus came to the lives of these fishermen and turned things all around. In the same manner, in this time of calamity whereas many people suffering from the Corona pandemic, Jesus is reaching out to those people who will believe and follow Him.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Furthermore, within the salvation of Jesus Christ, we can be God’s representative within the Marketplace. There is a calling to take the great commission which in fact the very reason we are here on earth. The congregations were invited to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and following to that, a prayer for those people who wanted to present their life for God lead by Victor Sentosa.
“Only Jesus can make us whole”
The service proceeded by the message of God by Sigit Syahranie, sharing the word of God from Philippians 4:6-7. This scripture explains that God wants us to let our requests be made known to Him with prayer and thanksgiving. We are not expected to live in lack or anguish. Matthew 9:21-22 best describes this through a story of a woman who was letting her request to be known to Jesus, like no other. Her trust in Jesus kept her saying to herself “If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole”, and she was healed instantly when she touched Jesus’ garment. Jesus said to her “Daughter be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole”.
Nothing is impossible for God, Jesus is the same, He never changes. The message continued with praying for the healing power of God by Indrie Scarlet, reminded us about the promise of God written in 1 Peter 2:24. We truly believe many delivered, as some testify directly to the link message.
As believers, especially positioned by God in the Marketplace, we have a duty to intercede for our nation of Indonesia. We pray for God’s forgiveness, His blessing over our nation, government, economic state and welfare. Particularly during the recovery of Covid-19 pandemic, we pray for the healing of all the infected and the protection for the frontline people working in health care, and more so the ending of this pandemic. The prayers were lead by Victor Sentosa and Indrie Scarlet.
Concluding the service, the congregation was encouraged to be a blessing witness to each of their local Christian office fellowship and not to hesitate reaching to our call center for prayer request and to notify healing testimonies as well. A gentle reminder was given as well, and that is to comply with government regulation in effort to put an end for this Covid-19 pandemic, and as well a closing prayer brought by Hanung Prasetyo . All glory to Jesus Christ, unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
