The Joy of Redemption– Sukacita karena dibebaskan

Jesus shed His blood so that we could be redeemed (Revelation 5:9). Independence often comes with a great price.  As our nation’s independence was acquired by our forefathers with a sacrifice, therefore we can celebrate our faith in Christ unhindered in this country.  God has given us the liberty from mankind’s biggest enemy with a price that none of us could repay. Today’s Miracle Day is speaking on the joy of redemption. The joy that is God’s will for us to enjoy.

The service was delivered by God’s servants in Marketplace from such a diverse industries and professions. Today service was brought by Kristo Aritonang (Brokerage Service), Caroline Valencia (Real Estate Industry), Uli Tuluran (Property Broker), Franky Cakra (Natural Gas Company), and Dahlia Gultom (Entrepreneur).

Miracle Day 21 Agustus 2020

You are redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ

Kristo Aritonang started with a prayer and a scripture taken from 1 Peter 1:18-19. These passages specify that we were not redeemed by something that is corruptible.  As men subjected to the wages of sin, which is death, God Himself has to be the one to come down from His throne in Heaven, as human just like us, in order to be the ultimate sacrifice.

In the old testament, the sacrifice offering can only be practiced by the high priest with the blood of animal for sin covering.  Through the blood of Jesus, our sins are cleansed away. It is God’s will that we open our heart to Him.  He wants to live in us and transform our defeated past, into something brand new. Above and beyond, He wants us to have the joy of salvation, the joy that comes from His redemption.

Caroline Valencia continues by leading the congregation with a prayer of salvation, to be reborn in Christ. His love for us is indisputable for He had willing to die on the cross, taking our position in order for us to receive everlasting life (John 3:16). An invitation was also given to those who want to respond to the calling of God to be His witness.

“Jesus healed the ten lepers, yet only one Samaritan turned back and glorified God ”

The service carries on by the message of God, about how Jesus heals a man with incurable disease which is a leprosy (Matthew 8:1-4), brought by Uli Tuluran. Although anyone with leprosy was considered to be an outcast and highly discriminated as it is contagious, this man came before Jesus in faith with such humility. This man was healed as God always values faith.  Maybe we are at the verge of desperation whereas nothing seems to give us hope of healing.  This is the time to come to Him with faith for He is the God who heal us.

Franky Cakra proceeds the service by praying for sick, bringing to mind for the congregation that by the wounds of Jesus, we are healed as written in Isaiah 53:5. As this live stream was occurring, we are receiving prayer requests through our call center and many come to Jesus Christ and receive healing.

As believers of Christ we ought to pray without ceasing, especially in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic that is still occurring. The service continued with prayer of intercession lead by Oline Valencia and Franky Cakra, for the well being of Indonesia, for the government, economic stability and the health for all the citizens, particularly the infected.

Concluding the service, the congregation was encouraged to be a blessing for their local Christian office fellowship and to comply with government regulation in effort to put an end for this pandemic, and as well a closing prayer brought by Dahlia Gultom. We bring all praise and glory to Jesus Christ who had saved and healed many lives today. Amen.
