HIDUPMU BERHARGA – Your Life is Worthy

Praise the Lord, Miracle Day event was held again today on Friday, 10 July 2020. Despite with the quarantine due to Covid-19 outbreak, God always has a way and He is still at work to bring people to come Him. This service was delivered by servants of God from various professions and industries. They are Evy Margareta (Hospitality industry), Eko J. Situmeang (Hospitality industry), Meldawaty Sirait (Cosmetic Industry), Agus Riyanto (Project Development) and Jong Johan (Transportation Industry).

“Your head are numbered”

The service was opened by Evy Margareta, bringing the message of hope written in Matthew 10:29-31. Jesus says “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. Even all the hairs on your head are numbered. So do not be afraid; you are more valuable than many sparrows.”

Far more than bestowing our needs, God’s love for us had made Him came down to earth and died for us for the redemption of sin, which is the furthermost essential of all. Maybe afflictions in our life hindered us from coming to God.  We need to be acknowledged that He longs for us to come before Him and receive everlasting life that worth way beyond sparrows.

Our brother Eko Situmeang continued with a prayer to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, recalling what the Bible says in John 3:16. Also it was explained that our reborn in Christ was just the beginning of a journey. God wants us to be a living witness wherever we are, including in our workplace with the profession that we do. The congregation was invited to commencing their life to God with a prayer guided by Jong Johan.

Miracle Day 10 Juli 2020

“Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean”.

Jesus wants to heal and deliver His people. Sister Meldawaty Sirait continued the service by quoting Mat 8:1-3 about how Jesus healed a man from leprosy. This man came before the Lord with the heart of worship and said “Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean”. Jesus then stretched out His hand and touched the leper saying “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Leprosy was not a common disease like others. This disease marked as an abomination to a person who was considered under a curse.  Anyone with such disease should not be amongst public. Yet when Jesus came down with the large crowds, this man who believes in Jesus, took the chance and bowed low before Him. The heart of faith that believes and accompanied with action, has led him to be touched by Jesus and was healed miraculously.

Before prayer for healing, brother Agus Riyanto reminded us all the promise of healing whereas Jesus bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness, by His stripes we were healed (1 Peter 2:24).  As this live stream was occurring, we received prayer requests through our call center and many came to Jesus Christ and received healing.

We also intercede for our nation of Indonesia so that God bless our land, our government and the economic recovery imputable to Covid-19. We pray that God heals all the infected, protect the frontline people working in health care and truly end this pandemic.  The prayers were lead by Eko Situmeang and Agus Riyanto.

This Miracle Day service was completed and closed in prayer by Jong Johan, announcing that the congregation can always be in touch for prayer request and a gentle reminder to comply with government regulation by taking all the necessary actions to participate in battling this pandemic.    We fervently thank the Lord and give all praises to His name, for nothing we can do apart from Him.
