Christ Gives Eternal Life – Kristus Memberi Hidup Kekal
How much time we have on earth? Have we truly invested on the things that determine not a year or even century, but eternal life? Today’s MIRACLE HOUR is a great reminder to stretch our mind on the things that truly last and come to realization how often the things we are focusing in this world will eventually come to past, brought by Michico Sihite (Financial Industry).
“What does it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?”
The scripture for today is taken from John 6:27 that says: Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for that food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of man shall give to you: for on him has God the Father set his seal. God knows we often caught up with the rhythm of the world, from the morning we pick our things to get to the work, until the end of the day.
Maybe over the years we have come to a better way of life, a better position in the workplace and have more goals ahead. Nevertheless, are we not aware that one day we will leave everything behind when our time has come? Make no mistake! Everything that the eyes can see will perish eventually. In Mark 8:36 says : For what does it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
“Have your name written in the Book of Life”
As we have no knowledge of how much time we have, this is the time to truly be mindful of our eternal life. Only in Jesus Christ we shall have the salvation for our eternal soul, as this is the message of the gospel. For anyone who confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and shall believe in his heart, he shall be saved and his name shall be written in the Book of Life.
“The most meaningful life is to serve the Lord”
As we are now living the new life that Jesus had given us. The most meaningful life that we can have in this earth, is the life where God is using us to be the agent for the fulfillment for His plans here on earth. Our life would be a display of the work of God. He is able to utilize us within our own surroundings, in the crowd of our own workplace and environment, our God would work through our life without boundaries.
