Jesus The Everlasting Life – Yesus Sumber Kehidupan Kekal

‘I judge all things only by the price they shall gain in eternity – John Wesley’. Today Miracle Day is talking about the foremost thing in the world, and that is eternal life. Nevertheless, whichever a person live, since all have sinned and fall short for the glory of God, eternal death is a certainty. But do not be dismay, there is a reason why the gospel is called a good news. From today’s message we will learn that the answer of life is in fact to good to be true.

Miracle Day 5 Agustus 2020

Life is short

Jeffery Siringo-ringo started with a prayer and a scripture taken from James 4:13-14. This passage shows how little control we have over things and especially over the time that we thought it is ours to decide. Our time in this world is portrayed so short as a steam that vanished in matter of seconds due to the comparison with eternal life. Yet despite of that, not only we often disregard the use of our time, we are occupied and spend it on the things of the world such as fortune, fame or other personal ambition.

As sinners, we are all subject to eternal death as the wages of sin (Romans 6:23). But praise to Lord Jesus who had willingly died and paid the penalty in our own behalf whereas we acquire the forgiveness of sin and enter the promise of salvation, which eternal life. And the only time that we have is now as we never know how much time we have left.

Jilly Stephanie continued to lead the congregation with a prayer of salvation, to be reborn in Christ. His love for us is indisputable for He had willing to die on the cross, taking our position in order for us to receive everlasting life (John 3:16). An invitation was also given to those who want to be respond to the calling of God to be His witness.

“Jesus’ heals the incurable disease”

The service carried on by the message of God, about how Jesus heals a man with leprosy (Matthew 8:1-3), brought by Pauline M. Simanjuntak. The story is about how Jesus healed a man from leprosy. Despite this disease is incurable and by the community norm, this man should not be seen in public, this man came before Jesus with the heart of worship, asking if Jesus would want to heal Him. He has no doubt that Jesus is able to cure the incurable disease at that time. Jesus put forth His hand and touched the leper saying “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Not limited to our physical state, Jesus is able to restore us regarding all the heaviness of life, as nothing can limit the Lord and nothing truly is impossible for Him. Jesus is the answer for every circumstances of our life, and at the end of the day, He is the one that give the us eternal life.

Dharta A.Sidauruk proceed the service by praying for sick, bringing to mind for the congregation that Jesus is able to do whatever we believe Him to do. As this live stream was occurring, we received prayer requests through our call center and many came to Jesus Christ and received healing.

As believers of Christ we ought to pray without ceasing as written in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. The service continued with prayer of intercession lead by Jilly Stephanie and Dharta A.Sidauruk, for the well being of Indonesia, particularly in handling pandemic challenges that had never been seen before in world history.

Concluding the service, the congregation was encouraged to be a blessing for their local Christian office fellowship and to comply with government regulation in effort to put an end for this pandemic, and as well a closing prayer brought by Lenny Retta Efelina. We bring all praise and glory to Jesus Christ who had saved and healed many lives today. Amen.
