Miracle Day 24 Juli 2020

“Gospel is the ultimate joy”

The service was opened by Adelina, bringing the message of hope written in John 3:16.  This well known verse contained the answer for all problems of humanity. As sin enters the world, the joy of the Lord was taken away which left human have to suffer in this world. Many people live under bondages and loose hope as if there is no salvation.

God, with all love and compassion towards sinners, knowing our situation whereas we cannot pay our debt of sin,, that He would  gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.  Not only we are delivered from the wages of sin which is death, but we have eternal life with Him for our future.  Maybe afflictions in our life hindered us from coming to God and experience His joy of salvation. This joy is far greater than any joy that we can receive. Today is the day for His salvation where our names can be written in the book of life.

Our brother David Oloan continued with a prayer to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Also it was explained that God wants us to be a living witness wherever we are, including in our workplace with the profession that we do. The congregation was invited to commencing their life to God with a prayer.

“Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean”.

Jesus wants to heal and deliver His people. Sister Sara Syauta continued the service by quoting Matthew 9:20-22. It is a story of a woman who was saying to herself “If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole”, and she was healed instantly when she touched Jesus’ garment. Jesus said to her “Daughter be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole”. Her steadfast faith allows her to receive the healing that Jesus had provided for her.

Striving for twelve years is not considered short.  Imagine how much time, energy, sacrifice and the expenditures in order to get better. Perpetually we are in the similar situation. We  attempt and labor so much yet only come to no result. But as that woman’s faith was answered, our wholeheartedly trust of God will come face to face with Jesus.

Before prayer for healing, sister Lenny Gani reminded us all the promise of healing whereas by Jesus’ wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).  As this live stream was occurring, we received prayer requests through our call center and many came to Jesus Christ and received healing.

We also intercede for our nation of Indonesia so that God bless our land, our government and the economic recovery imputable to Covid-19. We pray that God heals all the infected, protect the frontline people working in health care and truly end this pandemic.  The prayers were lead by David Oloan and Lenny Gani.

This Miracle Day service was completed and closed in prayer by Ardi Antonius, announcing that the congregation can always be in touch for prayer request and a gentle reminder to comply with government regulation by taking all the necessary actions to participate in battling this pandemic.    We fervently thank the Lord and give all praises to His name, for nothing we can do apart from Him.
