Jesus is the Most Valuable Treasure – Yesus Harta yang Paling Berharga

Every day we are busy storing up for treasures of the world, working day and night, and we forget to seek for treasures that are actually more valuable. Jesus is a precious treasure that can take us to Heaven. Today’s Miracle Hour message was delivered by Julian Maradona (The Automotive Industry).

The Parables of the Hidden Treasure

The Word of God was taken from Matthew 13: 44-46 regarding the parable of the hidden treasure and the precious pearl. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. (NKJV)

The Kingdom of Heaven is the Most Precious Treasure

Properties such as houses, vehicles, jewelry are precious and valuable in our lives. They often become the purpose of our lives and goals that drive us in doing our work in order to gain wealth. Wealth itself is often associated with happiness, for example, we will be happy if we gain a lot of wealth. However, Jesus said that the most valuable treasure is the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a hidden treasure, a treasure which cannot be seen by ordinary eyes, but by faith alone. It is so precious that God wants us to find it. We have to seek for this treasure every day because the things that we have are not enough. When we find this treasure, we will be full of joy, because it is far more valuable than anything we own.

Where Your Heart is There Your Treasure Will Be

What is our response when we find this precious treasure? Will we put it off to get it? As this parable says that the person sold all his belongings and got this valuable treasure. We must give up the treasures that bind our lives. It’s not that we can not have a lot of worldly treasures, but how do we position them in our lives. Are these worldly treasures the most important goal or obsession in our lives?

If we place it as our most important obsession or goal, then that is wrong. It is Jesus who should to be the main goal in our lives.
