THE LORD IS OUR GUIDE – Tuhan Penuntun Hidupmu
‘Though shalt guide me with Thy counsel’ (Psalms 73:24). Our journey often cramped with displeasing circumstances that it seems we walk alone. Nevertheless, there is a God who walks with us, God will not let go and leave us (Deuteronomy 31: 8).
Today’s Miracle Day is talking about how God is the true shepherd for our life, brought by God’s servants in the Marketplace from various industries and professions. They are: Deni Kaluara (Oil & Gas Company), Francisca Gani (Finance Officer), Septa Tobing (Journalist), Enddy Melvin (Entrepreneur), Mesra Trivena (The Intercultural School).
God is my shepherd
Deni Kaluara conveys the Word of God from Psalm 23: 1-6 saying: That God is our good shepherd, He will not lack me, God will refresh our souls and lead our lives. Even if we walk in the valley of darkness we do not become afraid because God is with us, Kindness and Generosity will only follow us for life, and will be in the house of God all the time.
He is our comforter
Where do we find our consolation these days? In the midst of the pandemic, we are facing challenges that may have never occurred before. It is inevitable problems that arise such as termination of employment, homelessness, salary cuts and many more. But the word of God never changes. He is still our good shepherd and we shall not lack on anything. Together with God, we are walking with Him all the way. We are Christ’s sheep. He is good shepherd who always leads us in the path of righteousness.
Francisca Gani continued to lead the congregation with a prayer of salvation, to be reborn in Christ. His love for us is indisputable for He had willing to die on the cross, taking our position in order for us to receive everlasting life (John 3:16). An invitation was also given to those who want to respond to the calling of God to be His witness.
The Lord said: What do you want me to do for you?
Septa Tobing proceeded with the Word of God from Matthew 20: 29-34 about Jesus healing two blind men. Two blind people who know about God, God is the person they have been waiting for and hoping for. Although the crowd prevented the two blind men from shouting, their faith did not falter and they did not give up hope that God would hear their cries. God stopped and called them and said: what do you want me to do for you? Then the blind man answered: Lord, that our eyes may see. God is so appreciative of the call and faith of our hearts, it is impossible for God not to hear. The Lord Jesus never changes, God will work miracles in our lives.
Enddy Melvin continued by praying that by the power of the Lord Jesus be poured out upon us as promised in Isaiah 53: 5. During this live broadcast, we received several prayer requests to our Contact Center and many came to the Lord Jesus and experienced healing.
As believers of Christ we ought to pray without ceasing. The service continues with prayer of intercession lead by Francisca Gani and Enddy Melvin, for the well being of Indonesia, particularly in handling pandemic challenges that had never been seen before in world history.
Concluding the service, the congregation was encouraged to be a blessing for their local Christian office fellowship and to comply with government regulation in effort to put an end for this pandemic, and as well a closing prayer brought by Mesra Trivena. We bring all praise and glory to Jesus Christ who had saved and healed many lives today. Amen.
